This is probably the best Super 8 that I have ever stayed in. The room was neatly appointed and very clean. The desk staff was professional and courteous. I was in Raleigh on business and there were certainly over a hundred different places that I could have stayed. But dollar for dollar, this Super 8 was a wise choice.

The manager allowed me an early check-in and was super understanding about my deposit situation. They even helped me with a cup of milk for my baby. The location was also great for access to everywhere we needed while offering various recreational opportunities.
100% recommend

The giant picture in the room.
The staff is horrible. They didn't know who we were when we came in. They didn't find our reservation then when we left they said we had never been there. It won't happen again.

The manager allowed me an early check-in and was very understanding about my deposit situation. They even provided a cup of milk for my baby. The cleanliness was excellent, especially when I noticed that my daughter's stuffed animals were perfectly placed on the bed when we returned. Invaluable .
No negative experiences to report.

The majority of the staff were very helpful! They were all 100% nice and genuine.
So just to be clear, this isn't about a dollar 25... I went to grab a soda out of the machine and it ate my money. No biggie, I went to front desk to tell them and the girl said it's not supposed to take quarters, but it's a 1.25. She said there was supposed to be a sign - she apologized and gave me a paper clip as it's usually the quarter that jams the machine. She said to put another dollar in. I didn't have any more cash and it was pouring rain out or I would have just walked over to a nearby store. She said the only thing I could do was contact the machine providers and to get my money back in the morning. I know this was not her fault in any way. But proper customer service says to give the customer the benefit of the doubt and give them their money back or do something useful to solve the situation. I went to and from the office in the rain 3 times, clearly I'm not trying to scam $1.25...

Great stay with amazing staff!
I was really impressed with how accommodating the staff was. They let me check in early and even helped with a small gift for my baby. The room was cleaned perfectly, and I loved how they put everything back for us. Only thing was it could use a little freshening up. I felt super comfortable.

Staff was friendly checking in. Nice location off main road. Nice clean room it was ice and snow on steps, she gave us bottom room due to baby. When we had issues with room they let us change rooms twice with no problem.
First room A/C didn't work right at all, it kept cutting off, A newer digital one. We would set it to the temp we wanted and it would blow a little air and then cut completely off. We got switched to a second room that was non-smoking but it smelled horrible of cigarettes not good with baby. The next room was a lot better and we were just ready to get to sleep at that point it was after one in the morning and it was one of the older air conditioning units worked great. Overall our experience was great we loved it and we would go back.

enjoyed the close proximity to parks and restaurants
I loved being just a short walk from Umstead Park, where I could take leisurely strolls surrounded by nature, and I appreciated how close O'Malley's Pub and Restaurant was for a tasty meal after a day of exploring. The staff were friendly and helpful were nice, but the cleanliness of the room could definitely be improved.

The rooms were neat and cheap with 2 full beds and had all necessary facilities...

Friendly, helpful staff, fairly easy to get to, and a good price.
Dated facilities, breakfast is about what you'd expect. I would have preferred a room on the 2nd floor for safety reasons, rather than the ground floor garden-style unit we were in.
